Dear neighbor,
This week legislators are in Olympia for Committee Assembly Days. It is what you might call a preview week for the 2014 Legislature. Committees will meet and hold work sessions on issues for the upcoming session. We are also working with staff on legislation for bills we expect before our respective committees. 
I am also taking the opportunity to hold a telephone town hall meeting. The event will be tomorrow night, Thursday, Nov. 21 and begins at 6:30 p.m. and will last one hour. You can join the community conversation by calling toll-free 1-800-759-5146. You can listen in, ask questions and take part in poll questions.
I hope you will listen in. We have a lot of pressing issues before us including transportation infrastructure, health care reform and improving our business climate for all employers. Your input is very important to me.
